David gave Solomon the pattern of the porch To wit, of the temple, which is necessarily to be understood. And of the houses thereof The houses of the temple, namely, of the holy place, and the holy of holies. And of the inner parlours thereof Those rooms which were made against the walls of the house round about, 1 Kings 6:5.
