Jehoash reigns well all the days of Jehoiada, 2 Kings 12:1-3. He gives orders for repairing the temple, 2 Kings 12:4-16. Diverts Hazael from Jerusalem by a present of the sacred treasures, 2 Kings 12:17; 2 Kings 12:18. He is slain by his servants, and succeeded by Amaziah.
