The wo of the unjust oppressors of God's people, Isaiah 10:1-4. The commission given to the king of Assyria to invade Judah, Isaiah 10:5; Isaiah 10:6. His pride and insolence in the execution of that commission, Isaiah 10:7-11. A rebuke given to his haughtiness, and a threatening of his fall and ruin, Isaiah 10:12-19. A remnant shall be saved, and a purer state of the church shall take place, after it has passed through these afflictions, Isaiah 10:20-23.
