There shall ye serve other gods day and night The opportunities of frequenting the public worship of the true God shall be taken from you, as a just judgment upon you for your neglect of his service in your own country; and you shall be exposed to the peril of being seduced by the Chaldeans to the worship of idols: see Deuteronomy 4:28; Deuteronomy 28:36, where Moses utters a similar prediction.
