I will sow the house of Israel Under the captivity the land lay desolate, without man and beast, Jeremiah 33:12; but here it is promised that it should be again inhabited and replenished with both. And like as I have watched over them to pluck up, &c. I will show the same care and diligence in restoring them as I have formerly done in destroying them, according to the promise made to them upon their repentance and reformation. 28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
