Bible Comments

Schindler: the springs which flow from the depths of the sea, as tears from men's eyes: the several sources from which the waters of the sea proceed. Heath renders it, Hast thou been at the sources of the sea? and the next clause he translates, Hast thou traversed the depth of the abyss? Hast thou found out the utmost depth of the sea; which, in divers places, could never be reached by the wisest mariner? And how then canst thou fathom the depths of my counsels?

Job 38:16

16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
