Bible Comments

The backslider in heart He who departs from God, although but inwardly; shall be filled with his own ways With the fruit of his ways, namely, the punishment of his sins; and a good man shall be satisfied from himself From the pious temper of his own heart, which cleaves to the Lord, and from the holy and righteous course of his life, he shall receive unspeakable comfort, both in this world and in the next.

Proverbs 14:14

14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
