Bible Comments

A.M. 2992. B.C. 1012.

This Psalm, which contains a description of the blessedness of good men, is thought by many to have been sung at the marriages of the Israelites, as it now makes a part of the matrimonial service among us. It shows that they who live in the fear of God, and in obedience to him, shall be blessed in their persons and employments, Psalms 128:1; Psalms 128:2. In their families, Psalms 128:3; Psalms 128:4. And shall see the good of Jerusalem, Psalms 128:5; Psalms 128:6.
