Psalms 132:15 - Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible

Bible Comments

I will abundantly bless her provision - Margin, surely. Hebrew, “Blessing I will bless,” a strong affirmation, meaning that he would certainly do it; that he would do it in every way; that every needed blessing would be imparted. The word rendered provision is a cognate form of the word in Psalms 78:25, translated meat: “He sent them meat to the full.” It properly refers to food for a journey, but it is applicable to any kind of food. The original idea is that of food obtained by hunting - as game, venison: Genesis 25:28; Job 38:41. The meaning here is, that God would provide abundantly for their support.

I will satisfy her poor with bread - I will give them what they need. See the notes at Psalms 37:25.
