1 Chronicles 15:8

Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah. — Elzaphan was son of Uzziel, the fourth son of Kohath (Exodus 6:18; Exodus 6:22). Of this Kohathite family, Shemaiah was chief in David’s time (1 Chronicles 24:6).
