The third to Zaccur. — Literally, The third, Zaccur and his sons and his brethrentwelve. The same mode of expression is used down to 1 Chronicles 25:18, except in 1 Chronicles 25:11, which reads, “The fourth for the Izrite, his sons and his brethren — twelve.” The Izrite (not “Izri”) is a Gentilic name, and seems to denote a family rather than a person.
