Bethuel. — Called Chesil in Joshua 15:30; Joshua 19:4 has Bethûl, a contraction like Hamul for Hamuel (1 Chronicles 4:26; comp. 1 Chronicles 2:5).

Hormah. — The ancient Zephath (Judges 1:17), now Sepata.

Ziklag. — Now Kasluj, east of Sepata (Joshua 15:30-31; 1 Samuel 27:6).
