And hast made... to go a whoring — i.e., “caused to commit fornication” (2 Chronicles 21:11). Like to the whoredoms, infinitive of the same verb; as the house of Ahah causeth them to commit fornication. This verb, zânâh, occurred in 1 Chronicles 5:25, but the writer does not use it again.
