Leviticus 23:13 - Ellicott's Commentary On The Whole Bible

Bible Comments

Two tenth deals of fine flour. — Ordinarily only one-tenth deal of fine Hour was required for a meat-offering (Exodus 29:40; Numbers 15:4; Numbers 28:9; Numbers 28:13, &c.), to exhibit the plentiful harvest. With the exception of the handful of flour and oil, and of all the frankincense, this meat-offering was the perquisite of the priests. (See Leviticus 2:2-3.)

Leviticus 23:13
