These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Is not a just man, in scripture language, a justified man, in the righteousness of God our Saviour? And is not this what is meant, in that expression concerning Noah, where it is said, that he became heir of the righteousness which is by faith? Hebrews 11:7; Romans 3:19-26. Perhaps that scripture, Ecclesiastes 7:20, cannot be explained upon any other terms. But, considered in this point of view, then all those scriptures are plain, Luke 1:6; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 1:12; Psalms 15:1.
