Isaiah 4:2 - Hawker's Poor Man's Commentary

Bible Comments

The Holy Ghost is still harping upon that blessed string, the gospel day, and comforting the church with the view of it. Jesus is the righteous branch, which Jehovah declared he would raise up in Zion. And as Jesus shall be glorious in every eye of his people, so his people which are the fruits and effects of his great salvation, shall be lovely in him, and to him also. See those scriptures, Zec_3:8; Zec_6:12-13; Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 33:15-16; Jeremiah 33:15-16; John 15:5.

Isaiah 4:2

2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautifula and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
