very Christ. the Christ, i.e. the Messiah. App-98. Instead of searching the Scriptures to see if these things were so, the Damascenes were occupied with the change in Saul's attitude. Hence we read nothing of believers. Contrast Acts 17:11; Acts 17:12. No epistle addressed to them nor any record of. church there.
