Aholah. Hebrew. 'ahalah = [She has] her own tent. So named probably because Israel set up her own worship as distinct from Jehovah's.
elder. Refers not to age, but to extent.
Aholibah. Hebrew. 'ahalibah = My tent [is] in her.
