flesh and blood. The texts read "blood and flesh". In Hebrews flesh is never used in the moral sense of Romans 7:18, but always of natural body.

the same. The same (things), i.e. flesh and blood, not the same flesh and blood, which had become corrupted by Adam's sin. "This same Jesus" was. direct creation of God. Compare Luke 1:35.
