Used there to connect the four Titles of Messiah: MATTHEW: the King (Zechariah 9:9 with Jeremiah 23:5; Jeremiah 23:6). MARK: the Servant (Isaiah 42:1 with Zechariah 3:8). LUKE: the MAN (Zechariah 6:12). JOHN: JEHOVAH (Isaiah 40:9; Isaiah 40:10, with Isaiah 4:2).
