made. Hebrew Nathan (to give) is rendered "appoint" in Exodus 30:16; Numbers 35:6; Joshua 20:7; 2 Kings 8:6, &c. Even where it is rendered "to make", it has the force of "appoint" (Genesis 9:12.Numbers 14:4, &c.)
