Nephesh is incorrectly rendered "body" in Leviticus 21:11.Numbers 6:6; Numbers 19:11; Numbers 19:13. and "dead body" in Numbers 9:6; Numbers 9:7; Numbers 9:10; Haggai 2:13. In all these passages the Hebrew nephesh (soul) is thus rendered, and yet it is rendered "life" in Leviticus 17:14 and elsewhere.
