Occurs seven times (Matthew 26:34; Matthew 26:75.Mark 14:72.Luke 22:61; John 4:49; John 8:58; John 14:9); prin e, Occurs seven times (Matthew 1:18; Mark 14:30; Luke 2:26; Luke 22:34.Acts 2:20; Acts 7:2; Acts 25:16). In eleven of the fourteen passages where this word occurs the events did take place. In the other three, one was miraculously prevented (John 4:49); the day of the Lord is absolutely certain (Acts 2:20); the other was legally imperative (Acts 25:16).
