Psalms 73:28 - Bullinger's Companion Bible Notes

Bible Comments

it is good for me. The Hebrew accent (pasek) emphasizes the Pronoun "me". Others may go "far from Thee" (Psalms 73:27), but "as for me,. will draw near to Thee" (Compare Psalms 73:23). The "good" is seen in the twofold result: (1). find. refuge in Him; (2). tell forth His praises.

put my trust. flee for refuge. Hebrew. hasah. App-69.

the Lord GOD. Adonai Jehovah. App-4.

Psalms 73:28

28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
