Then we turned and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, that is, in the direction toward the Red Sea, Numbers 14:25, as the Lord spake unto me; and we compassed Mount Seir many days, ever moving around in the neighborhood of this mountain range, in the Wilderness of Paran, down to the Elanitic Gulf.
