Ezekiel 20:2

‘And the word of Yahweh came to me saying.'

Ezekiel remained in his house under his enforced silence (Ezekiel 3:26), only speaking when ‘the word of Yahweh' came to him. Silently he watched their assembly, and then the word of Yahweh came to him.
