Daniel 11:20. one: i.e. Seleucus IV (187- 175 B.C) shall cause an exactor: these words are supposed to refer to an attempt by Seleucus to plunder the Temple in Jerusalem (2Ma_2:1). within few days: after an inglorious reign of twelve years, Seleucus IV was murdered, as the result of a plot formed against him by his chief minister, Heliodorus.

20 Then shall stand up in his estatee a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
