Heaven and earth; either,
1. Figuratively, i.e. God, and angels, and men. Or rather,
2. Properly; it being usual in Scripture to call in the senseless creatures as witnesses in such cases, as Deuteronomy 32:1 Isaiah 1:2 Jeremiah 2:12.
