The riches of his glory; i.e. the abundance of his power: see Romans 6:4. To be strengthened with might; further degrees of spiritual strength, proceeding from God's power as the fountain. By his Spirit; as the immediate worker of all inherent grace. In the inner man; the reasonable powers of the soul as renewed by grace, the same as heart in the next verse, and spirit, 1 Thessalonians 5:23: see 2 Corinthians 4:16.
