The glory of the Lord, Ezekiel 10:18, is said to have stood above the cherubims, and here the cherubims mount, get farther from the earth, and by nearer access declare their readiness to attend the Lord of glory. In my sight; that he might assure the Jews of the danger of their losing God's presence.
