There appeared to the prophet. The cherubims; the ministering spirits. The form of a man's hand; shaped to speedy, accurate working; it is therefore a man's hand. One hand was put forth to reach the fire, and that one is mentioned, though the angels had hands under their wings. Under their wings; the manner of angels working is hereby insinuated, for it is secret and speedy; secret, as hidden under wings; and speedy, as effected by the swiftest motion; the very speed hideth it.
