Before they lay down to sleep, of which this word is used, Genesis 28:13 Leviticus 14:47, Leviticus 26:6. All the people from every quarter; some to exercise villany, and some to please themselves with the contemplation of it, and some out of curiosity, &c. This is added to show how universally corrupt they were, and that there were not ten righteous men there.
