2. Designs or purposes of doing something of moment; for this word is frequently used in both senses, but the last seems fittest here. Is like deep water; either,
1. Is there in great abundance; or,
2. Is secret and hard to be discovered. Will draw it out, by prudent questions and discourses, and a diligent observation of his words and actions.
