Thou hast showed, Heb. made them to see, i.e. to experience or feel, as seeing is oft put, as Psalms 49:10, and oft elsewhere. Thou hast filled us with no less horror and trembling, than men intoxicated with strong and stupefying drink, which they are forced to drink. Compare Isaiah 51:17,21.
