This and the following verses contain the words of the bride, in answer to the Bridegroom's most endearing expressions delivered in the foregoing verses. His desire is toward me; I perceive, and am fully satisfied, that he heartily loves me. It is my duty to have my desire towards him as my Husband, according to God's sentence, Genesis 3:16, but it is a wonderful condescension in him, that his desire is towards me.
