I speak as concerning reproach,— Do I speak this by way of dishonour, as if we ourselves were weak? Surely, in whatsoever any one else may be confident, (I speak it in folly) I also am confident. Doddridge. Heylin renders the verse thus: I speak of disgraces which touch me, as if I had suffered them myself; but in whatsoever any of them dare to boast, (I speak foolishly) I dare the same.
