If I must needs glory,— See ch. 2 Corinthians 12:11. By the word u954?αυχασθαι, which is translated sometimes to glory, and sometimes to boast, the Apostle throughout, when he applies it to himself, means nothing but the mentioning some commendable action of his, without vanity or ostentation, and barely from the necessity of the occasion.
