Acts 15:12 - Coke's Commentary on the Holy Bible

Bible Comments

Then all the multitude kept silence,— St. Peter's speech silenced all the multitude, and the zealots had nothing to reply to such clear and convincing arguments. The whole body of the assembly, therefore, were then disposed patiently to attend to what Paul and Barnabas thoughtfit to communicate to them, concerning the wonders and miracles which God had enabled them to do among the Gentiles; which was a plain confirmation that God had sent them, and approved of their attempt to convert such persons, though they were not circumcised, nor subject to the burden of the Mosaic law.

Acts 15:12
