I will sift the house of Israel— This prophesy remarkably agrees with the present state of the Jews. "I will mingle and scatter the Israelites among all nations, just as good and bad grain are mingled in a sieve; but will so order it, that the good grain (the souls faithful to the grace of God) shall be preserved."
