And at the end of the days, &c.— "God regarded me with the eyes of his mercy: my mind was restored: I humbled myself before the Lord; I acknowledged the greatness of his power, and the justice of his wrath: I applied to him, and obtained pity." It should appear from what Nebuchadnezzar says, that his conversion was real; and we may consider him as a convert to the Jewish religion.

34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
