Ver. 10. And all people—shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord i.e. Shall be convinced that you are, after a peculiar manner, the Lord's people; for to be called by God's name, and to be His, are all one. Jeremiah 25:29. 1 Chronicles 13:6. Acts 15:17. So, when Jacob says, that his name should be named on the two sons of Joseph, the meaning is, that they should be accounted his, as Reuben and Simeon were. Genesis 48:16.
