Set the trumpet to thy mouth— Let the trumpet in thy mouth sound against the house of Judah. Houbigant. Hosea in this and the three following verses prophesies against Judah. Those who follow our interpretation suppose, that by the eagle here spoken of is meant Nebuchadnezzar. See Ezekiel 17:3.
