But, as Houbigant well observes, God will then only pardon all the iniquities of the Jews when they enter into the Christian church, and then the nations shall be astonished: see the next verse; where, instead of, They shall fear and tremble, he reads, They shall wonder and be astonished; and instead of it in that verse, they and them.
