Thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field— Houbigant reads, For there shall be a covenant to thee with the fruits of the field; for I cannot acquiesce, says he, in the common interpretation; as both what goes before, and what follows after, seems averse from it; mention of famine naturally leads us to suppose that something should recur correspondent to the removal of that famine.
