But all these things will they do, &c— "None of the evils which you shall suffer on my account, or the gospel's, will flow from any deficiency in the evidences of my divine mission, or from any fault that can justly be found with the gospel. They will allflow from your persecutors being wilfully ignorant of the nature and perfections of my heavenly Father who has sent me into the world, of my eternal union with him, and of the doctrines published to them under former dispensations."
