Luke 13:29 - Coke's Commentary on the Holy Bible

Bible Comments

They shall come, &c.— This part of the answer was levelled directly against the Jewish prejudice, and is a plain declaration that the salvation of God shall be extended to people of all parts of the world; and that many who thought themselves alone entitled to God's favour, in virtue of their peculiar privileges, shall, for their misconduct, be finally excluded from his presence. See on Matthew 3:9; Matthew 8:11-12.

Luke 13:29

29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
