Blessed art thou, O Lord— The meaning seems to be this, "Thou, O Jehovah, art blessed; i.e. the supreme God, to whom I acknowledge all blessing and adoration to be due. Teach me therefore thy ordinances, as being the only laws, to which we owe all obedience."
