My vineyard, which is mine— My vineyard which before brought me in a thousand pieces, is now thine, O Solomon; and there are two hundred pieces for those who look after the fruit thereof. By pieces of silver here are understood shekels, supposed to be in value about two shillings and four pence halfpenny each.
