And he shall bring forth— If in this prophesy not only the completion of the material temple is promised, but also, as we have supposed, the erection of a spiritual building, it is obvious, that in this secondary sense by the head or chief corner-stone must be understood that person who is emphatically so called, Psalms 118:22.Isaiah 28:16.
