For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Ver. 27. All things under his feet] This,Psalms 8:7,8, spoken of man in general, is properly applied to the man Christ Jesus; in whom also it extendeth to the saints, who are therefore more glorious than heaven, earth, or any creature, and shall have power over all, Revelation 2:26.
